Music Concerts
We provide free, in-person instrumental or voice music concerts to seniors who have limited mobility. We have observed that our music provided emotional support for seniors bringing back memories and emotions.
We also perform music for fundraising for a charity whose cause and values align with ours. We believe performing live music can promote the fundraising event and help raise the funds an organization needs to further its cause and make a difference.
Environment Workshops creating musical instruments and objects using recycled materials
We teach children about their environment and how to protect it. We provide free workshops to give children a deeper appreciation of the world around them to learn about their surroundings in new ways. Children learn to create their own musical instruments or objects from recycled materials.
Art Enrichment Classes & Camps Using Eco-Friendly Art Supplies
We provide free, in-person, hands-on art, acting, and music classes to seniors with limited mobility and children with disabilities. Our art class will use a variety of classic art materials using different techniques and principles. We have observed our classes promoted socialization and connection through the arts. Art has been proven to improve physical and mental stress.
We will also be using eco-friendly art supplies, such as organic watercolor paints made from flower petals, recycled paper, empty bottles, toilet paper rolls, rocks and pebbles, and tree leaves.
In-Person Instrumental Music Lesson and Mentorship
We provide free in-person music lessons and ongoing mentorship to elementary students who could not otherwise afford them. We do fundraising to invite our students participating in our music lessons to music concerts.
Instrument String Recycle Program
We are part of Players Circle, a String Recycle Program. Instrument strings that are not recyclable in most cities. It is estimated that up to 1.5 million pounds of strings could be buried in a landfill yearly.
We drop off a box at local schools and youth orchestras to collect strings.
