Jae Eun (April) Park

Flutist Jae Eun (April) Park is a rising senior at OCSA. She started playing the flute in 5th grade because she loved the clear sound of it. She won 1st place in the 2021 American Protege Woodwinds and Brass Competition and was selected to play a winner's solo recital at Carnegie Hall in 2023. Her accomplishments and awards include:

She is a Student Teacher for the flute with the Dragon Kim Foundation music program. Her pupils are underserved elementary school students in the Santa Ana School District. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Korean.
