Bringing Arts to Everyone
Empowering Arts was founded to positively impact our community and environment through music and the multidisciplinary arts. One of our goals is to create a culture of community service and give back to the neighborhoods we live in. We hope to promote protecting our environment, health, reduce isolation, and enrich people's lives, especially seniors with limited mobility or other illnesses, children with disabilities, and the underserved, through our performances and classes.
We Create Arts Together
When the founder, Hannah Cho, was in 7th grade, she was invited to perform in the dementia ward at a local rehabilitation center for elderly community members. On her first visit there, she saw two ladies jostling for a seat closer to her in the front row. She realized at that moment they weren’t just there for entertainment – concerts for these socially isolated individuals were a welcome rarity, a chance to experience the uplifting power of music and regain a sense of connectedness to life. Inspired, She created Empowering Arts with the goal of bringing the joys of art to those who otherwise lack the opportunity.
Since our inception in September 2021, but we has established partnerships with many skilled nursing facilities and children's learning centers in Orange County.
We're thrilled to announce that we are expanding our program to Georgia, We continue to build a culture of giving in our organization and are always looking for new opportunities to spread the beauty and joy of music and arts to our community.
